The bleaching of teeth is actually a gentle process of making white teeth that restores stained or discolored teeth to their natural color and sound. Make no mistake-counter products are not approved. Our office uses an advanced process that only your dentist can offer.

What causes tooth discoloration?

The teeth are discolored because of several reasons:

• Drinking coffee, tea or soda often
• Some antibiotics may darken developing teeth of children.
• Aging-dentin below the enamel darkens with age.
• The use of snuff products
• Accidents
• If a tooth has been traumatized, sometimes the nerve "dies" tooth gradually darkens.
• After a root canal therapy, tooth becomes darker.

Is whitening safe?

Bleaching is very safe. We use a safe product which, under the direction of a dentist has been approved.
